As a young child, Will spent many summers in the Northwoods of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, where his passion for fishing blossomed. His legacy will forever live on through the multitude of family and friends who will be fishing for the next big Muskie in his honor. Will’s other passion was deer hunting, and he enjoyed many winters in pursuit of the next big buck with his son Erik, along with his father, brother, nephews and friends. Will was proud of his Latvian heritage, and was always excited to share Latvian traditions with his family and friends. His sense of humor rivaled any comedian, and he always knew how to put a smile on your face with his witty commentary. He also loved history, and proudly knew “a little bit about a lot of things.” The foundation of love created with his beloved wife Linda enabled him to be the incredible father that he was. Will referred to the birth of his three children: Erik, Vanessa and Rebecca as three of the best days of his life. His seven grandchildren were the lights of his life, and his loving imprint has undoubtedly been left on each of their hearts. Will always remembered your birthday, and would be the first to send well wishes, prayers, and congratulations on the life events of each of his many family and friends. His life lesson for us would be to be take the positive out of each situation and fill it with joy and laughter. We would like to thank our friends and family for their love, prayers and support, also to Dr. Grad, Dr. Cacioppo, Marge and staff for their compassionate care during his courageous battle with cancer.
