John “Jack” J. Deegan, 84, of Elk Grove Village for 54 years. Born in Chicago he passed away March 31, 2018. Jack was a retired 33 year employee at IBM of Chicago & Oakbrook as an administration manager. He was also an avid golfer, tennis player and die hard White Sox fan. Jack was the beloved husband of Carolyn M. (nee. Hoffman) for 57 years; loving father of Patty (Dean) Bartolone, John Deegan, Mary Beth (Bob) Moauro, Cathy DiDonato, Michael (Kristin) Deegan, Steven (Daiva) Deegan, Diane (Heiko) Stroehmann and Matt Deegan; cherished grandfather of Megan (Eric), Kara, Robert, Nick, Michael, Morgan, Jack, Caitlyn, Jennifer, Mikayla, Colleen, Michael, Sebastian, Ben and Alex. Jack was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth “Bessie” Deegan (nee. O'Malley) and his sisters Rosemary, Eileen and Veronica. She was the beloved wife of Gary G. for 38 years; loving mother of Justin G. (fiance Angelica), Matthew A. (Nicole) and Jonathan S. (Lisa) Stajduhar; daughter of the late Marilyn and the late Samuel Donko; dear sister of Ken (Sheri) Donko, the late Sam Donko, Valerie (Gary) Klave, Barbara (Joe) Parello, the late Darlene Donko; and cherished grandmother of Emma. John “Jack” J. Murray passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 13th. He was born in Chicago to John Murray & Veronica nee Wozniak. He served in the Army during the Korean War and in 1955 married his love Marilyn (Kusch). They later moved to Elk Grove where they raised their family and made lifelong friends. Throughout his life he enjoyed bowling, playing softball and golf. He loved watching sports, especially the Blackhawks, March Madness and his dear Cubbies. He was a dedicated parishioner of Queen of the Rosary Church. He took great pride in serving his country, taking part in his community and creating memories with his many friends. His greatest joy was always spending time with his close-knit family. He is survived by his four loving children Sue (Bob), Linda (John), Jim (Lisa), Karen (Dave) and his nine cherished grandchildren Lisa (Kevin), Michael (Jamie), Cole, Samantha, Marilyn, Nathan, Dylan, Griffin and Colin. He is also survived by his guardian angel of 22 years Judy Gulbransen, her children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Marilyn (1990) and his lifelong friend Bob Stahl. He was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18th, from 3 to 8 PM at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village with chapel prayers Monday, March 19th at 9:30 AM, proceeding to Queen of the Rosary Church for 10 AM Mass. Private interment to follow. Savage and the late William C. Savage (2004); the dear brother of Deborah, William J. (Patty), John (Martha), Michael (Jenny) Savage; and cherished uncle of 7 nieces and nephews. Kristine Marilee Kille (Cole), 75, of Elk Grove Village, IL, passed peacefully on March 9, 2018 in Barrington, IL after a long battle with lung cancer. Kristine is survived by her loving life partner George Prochno; her son Patrick Ray O’Neal and wife Cathy; her daughter Kimberly Lynn Zito (O’Neal) and husband Scott; her grandchildren Andrew O’Neal, Alexa Zito, Natalie Zito, Michael Zito, Ashley Flores, Ryan Flores, Cameron Flores, Ashley Flament; her brother Wes Cole; her sisters Debbie Cole, Valerie Cole; her niece Kendra Trauth (Cole) and husband Dan and their children Dylan, Ashtynn, Peyton; her niece Heather Cole; her nephews Ron Cole, John Cole. Kristine is preceded in death by her father Harold Hopper; her mother Dora Archibald; her sister April Smith (Cole). Kristine was born on December 9, 1942, in Oakland, CA. She moved to Chicago, IL in 1953 where she graduated from Senn High School. In 1962 she married John Ray O’Neal, they lived in Chicago, IL, until their divorce. Together they raised 2 children; Patrick Ray and Kimberly Lynn. She remarried to Patrick David Kille, they lived in Vernon Hills, IL, until their divorce. She enjoyed the final 20 years of her life with her life partner George Prochno. Kristine held various business management roles in her career of over 30 years. She retired from Austin AECOM as a Procurement Manager. She was blessed with artistic talent for drawing and sewing; quilting was her passion. She also enjoyed traveling, golf, scrabble, jigsaw puzzles and old movies. Most of all she loved being a grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, partner and friend. A remembrance is scheduled for Sunday, March 18, from 1-5 p.m., with a non-denominational memorial service at 4 p.m., at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL.
