Evelyn A. Wizniak (nee Gentzen), 86, of Elk Grove Village for 35 years formerly of Chicago passed away May 29, 2018. Beloved wife of Gene Wizniak for 62 years; loving mother of Scott (Kathleen) and Susan Wizniak; cherished grandmother of Ryan (Julia), Rachel (Petros Keres), and Stephen Wizniak; dear aunt of Sandra (Lenny) Haye and Christine (Terry) Lindenberg. Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving parents Lillian and Edward Gentzen and sister Mildred Kopp. Private interment. Marty L. Chakeen, 71, of Elk Grove Village for 41 years passed away on May 28, 2018. Marty was the beloved husband of Darlene H. (nee Nystrom) for 45 years; loving father of Brian (Melissa) Chakeen and Lisa (Anthony) Bieze; dear brother of Tony (Charlene) Chakeen and Marianne (Ray) Fossum; cherished dad and grandad to his 4 furbabies, Coco, Penny, Bailey and Buddy; he also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Marty was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of VFW Post 9284, Americans of Italian Decent Club, long time member of Queen of the Rosary, Knights of Columbus and past senator #45978 of the Elk Grove Jaycees. Warren C. Triphahn, 76, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 18 years, passed away peacefully May 27, 2018 at Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence. He was the beloved husband of Christine B. (nee Winslow) for 57 years; loving father of Donna Vega, Susan (Bill) Milde, and the late Warren Jr. (2015); dear grandfather of Theresa, Edward (Michelle), Steven, Kenneth (Katy), and Grace; beloved great-grandfather to Logan, Michael, Calix; loving brother to Kenneth; and cherished brother-in-law of Sandie (Tom). Warren had a lifelong passion for golfing and horse racing. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 30th from 3 to 9 pm at Grove Memorial Chapel 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. Elk Grove Village. Chapel prayers will take place Thursday May 31st at 10:00am followed by a 10:30am Funeral Mass at St. Julian Eymard Church. Interment at All Saints Cemetery-Des Plaines.

Helen Dietz, nee Quint, 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 19, 2018. She was born in River Rouge, Michigan to the late Nicholas and Eva Quint. She was the beloved wife of 68 years to the late Aime; cherished mother of Richard (Donna) Dietz, Christine (Fred) Owens, and Ronald (Pam) Dietz; loving grandmother to Dennis, Diane, Jason, Robert, and Deanna; and dear great-grandmother to many beautiful great-grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her siblings Harry, Rosemary, Madeline. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday June 16 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm with a 3pm service time at Grove Memorial Chapel 1199 S. Arlington Hts. Rd. Elk Grove Village. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
